our Durham Wedding Venue

We couldn’t have been happier with the whole process from start to finish. Andrew, Jo and the team are so easy to deal with and nothing is too much trouble. They were always happy to respond to queries by email or answer any questions or requests we had over the phone whilst planning and on the day.

The venue itself is perfect and the setting is flexible with the main pub building, the marquee and the garden so the venue offers a blank canvas to be decorated by the individual. Having the microbarn on site was really convenient for anyone wanting a quiet space and meant we didn’t have far to go at the end of the night!

Obviously, the food was incredible and our guests were commenting all night about how much they enjoyed the meal. We even had the Loaded Fries food truck as our evening street food which was a great addition to our big day. 

If you’re looking for a very reasonably priced venue for weddings or other events that you can tailor to your own requirements – we couldn’t recommend The Crown highly enough.
