Can’t beat this lovely C L site for views. Very well maintained , clean toilet and shower , quiet, peacefully site . Friendly Pub down serves homemade pizzas and fox and hounds in next village for great food too. High Force & Low Force waterfalls walks nearby.

Very good site with very large pitch size, pity the pub wasn’t open and the booking of meals very unclear but the Blacksmiths Arms just down the road is very good.
Good walks from Mickelton to nearby villages.
Modern single shower/toilet block

This was my first time on a CL site and it won’t be the last, a really peaceful location and lovely scenery. We had Pitch 3 and I must say it was the best of 5 pitches but all were a big size. We will definitely go back, it was just a shame the pub wasn’t open while we were there. But that didn’t spoil our weekend. Lovely clean shower and WC room. All in all a great site.

Just back from a fantastic weekends stay at the Crown on pitch 2.  The word FANTASTIC is not enough to describe how good the facilities are and how peaceful it was. The pitches are massive and the grounds are extremely well kept. The shower/wc room was spotless and very warm. The place is a credit to the owners who unfortunately we didn’t get to meet.
The little pub along the street (The Blacksmiths Arms) is well worth a visit it serves a good pint and lovely pizzas and the locals make you very welcome.
We will definately be going back again !!

Booked on line as we wanted to be near our friends live at Hunter house farm & certainly couldn’t have asked for a better CL site !!

Didn’t get to meet our hosts but a wonderful view from all the pitches and immaculate facilities

Shall be back x

Lovely stay here on pitch 3 – private, incredibly spacious, fabulous scenery and so, so quiet! It was our second time here and we will most definitely be back. We love the walk along the railway line to Middleton and Romaldkirk. Just one thing lacking – the pub still closed!
