I love staying at the Crown CL.
Is perfectly situated for walking. Just five minutes and you have a lovely walk to Romaldkirk or Middleton.
The Crown is not open however the Blacksmith arms is they do a lovely pint.
Facilities are spot on. One shower, toilet and wash basin. This is kept in clean and hygienic by the staff and customers.
Great site and I love to visit such a beautiful part of the country.

A return visit using the Covid vouchers that we subscribed to. We had forgotten that the hardstanding pitches were so huge! Disappointed that the Crown itself wasn’t open but no great hardship as we were only there for two nights. Easy access to the Teesdale Railway Path being half way between Middleton in Teesdale one…
