Just returned from five nights spent in the micro barn at The Crown. It was cosy, warm and clean. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.The food in The Crown is excellent. We stayed at the CL this week, A really lovely site with great facilities including a shower and toilet which were immaculate. This weekend we had the enormous pleasure to attend the wedding reception of our niece at The Crown. From start to end the whole day was fantastic. The good weather helped us to enjoy the full range of foods and drink on offer. Catering for so many (about 150) would normally mean something goes wrong…. Read more »

We use the Crown probably once a week for food, and of course a nice drink of John Smiths for me with a lovely chilled glass of Sauvigon Blanc for the wife. Stayed on the CL behind the pub in our motorhome on Easter Monday 2013. We enjoyed a very friendly welcome. A first class CL, very generous pitch size, hard-standing with mains & water. A single luxury shower & WC facility, comprehensive waste disposal. The large pub interior is immaculate with informal seating and open fires…. Read more »
