Great site. Very well run. Shower and loo available during our stay and kept spotlessly clean. Would love to return during more relaxed times.

This was our first visit to the Crown for an overnight stay in a Motor Home. We took advantage of the take away menu and have to say we were not disappointed. It would have been even better if we had remembered together the wine!!!
If we take another road trip in North Yorkshire The Crown will be on our visiting list.

We have just had a lovely stay on the CL at Mickleton, perfect little gem. Supberb large hardstanding pitches, with own electrics and water. Felt very Covid19 safe with procedures in place. Order a meal from the pub, personally delivered to our caravan, meal was delicious.

A great week stay at The Crown. Lovely big, flat pitches with water and power at each pitch. Great views across the fields to the fells beyond. Lovely walks through the village and to Middleton-in-Teesdale. Shame that the pub was closed, that would have been the cherry on the icing on the cake.
We will be back!

Another excellent takeaway from The Crown! The three course dinner for two was delicious. The meal arrived beautifully packed, with detailed reheating and serving instructions. Andrew and the team have made sure everything is easily prepared, really excellent quality and exceptional value for money. Highly recommended.
